Jan is an experienced entrepreneur, investor and M&A advisor. He is known for his expertise in Strategy, Marketing & Product. Before founding ennea in 2016, Jan made KAYAK a European household name acting as the company’s Managing Director Europe. Prior to that Jan ran listed Travel24.com. He travelled the world as a journalist for many years. Jan holds several advisory/board seats in European companies.
Sven is professor for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Munich University of Applied Sciences at the faculty of tourism. Sven is an experienced angel investor with profound knowledge in the fields of travel and mobility. Alongside his role as professor he held a position as Head of Finance at Magazino, a robotics company based in Munich.
Simon has worked multiple years for a sports marketing agency managing business development projects. Due to his time working for a family office he gained insights into venture capital and M&A. Simon has garnered experience in the tourism industry working for a large German tour operator.
Beat is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Falkensteiner Ventures. He gained a comprehensive overview of travel and hospitality tech startups, managing a diverse portfolio of investments. Until 2018, Beat was MD at Thomas Cook for their City/Domestic tour operator platform, serving multiple markets in Continental Europe, the UK, and the Nordics. Currently, he is a Board Member in several startups and grownup companies in travel and hospitality across Europe.
Ralf is a Co-Founder & serves as CEO at Chain4Travel. He is the founder and CEO of Peakwork AG. Customers of his leading technologies include international travel companies & global Internet giants such as Google and Facebook. In 2013, Ralf received an international award as 'Serial Innovator of Travel Technology' at the World Travel Market in London. He is also the founder of TravelTainment (sold to Amadeus in 2006), Vtours, and Weekend.com
After being trained as an accountant, Sascha served as CEO of established hospitality tech companies like WorldRes and RateTiger. He founded the M&A consultancy StellantPartners, where he still serves as Partner. As General Partner of HOWZAT Partners, Sascha has invested into more than 30 travel companies and more than 80 companies overall. Since 2013 Sascha is founder & CEO of Busy Rooms, a central reservation system for the hotel industry.
Sarah is an expert in entrepreneurship education, business development, corporate innovation, and startup collaboration. She has various years of experience in the conception, building, and management of corporate innovation units and in the implementation of entrepreneurial coaching programs as well as the establishment of strong communities – connecting start-ups, universities, and corporates in a national and international context. In 2021 she co-founded Bright&Bold aiming to uncover overlooked innovation potentials and to empower entrepreneurs. Furthermore, she is the director of business development for the digital product consultancy Mainmatter.
Morgann joined Cambon Partners in 2009. At Cambon, he rediscovered how intensely interesting and rewarding investment banking can be. It is a tremendously exciting business because it calls on a broad spectrum of skills and enables you to establish truly meaningful relationships with people. Negotiations also require a particular type of intelligence that is a combination of strategic thinking, ingenuity, technical expertise, and subtle argumentation.
Lisa has been through the full spectrum of the investment lifecycle, from mentoring and investing in startups as an angel investor and as a VC. She is highly experienced in scaling a company from 50 to 300 employees as part of the management team to a successful exit. By heading the company strategy and M&A working alongside one of the largest PE funds, she has completed two corporate acquisitions and entered an agreement to be acquired by Booking Holdings for 1.6b EUR. (Pending antitrust!)
Nadine runs the entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship program founders@unibw. She is in charge of the entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and technology transfer topics at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces. As a passionate and experienced coach and lecturer she is supporting entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, students and professionals. Additionally she holds the position of Managing Director Germany at SpaceFounders and is the Co-Founder & CEO of the consultancy firm Bright&Bold.
Olaf is one of the Managing Partners of Capnamic Ventures, having joined in 2015. He brings over 20 years of experience as a manager, entrepreneur and investor. Between 2007 and 2015, he was a partner and co-owner of venture capital firm Target Partners. In the past, Olaf has invested as a business angel in emerging entrepreneurs in the internet and IT sector. From 1999 to 2007, he founded and established multiple prosperous startups, which led to several successful exits.
Tilo is the founder and CEO of PIABO, Europe’s leading communications partner and growth platform for the digital economy headquartered in Berlin. He established PIABO with the mission to support the rise of globally ambitious tech entrepreneurs in achieving growth targets and ultimately conquering the market. Tech heavyweights such as Stripe, Silicon Valley Bank, GitHub, and Shopify trust in his advice. Tilo is a keynote speaker at international innovation conferences such as NOAH, DLD, and MWC as well as a passionate and active supporter of the tech ecosystem as a mentor for founders. As a value-adding investor in over 40 VC funds worldwide, he accelerates the growth of upcoming business stars.
Before joining Vorwerk Ventures in 2020 Sascha was co-founder and COO of the B2B travel tech startup Yilu which was funded by Lufthansa Group. Being responsible for Operations, Finance and HR, Sascha established the strategy and processes to scale the venture to 65+ employees. Prior to Yilu, Sascha headed the investment activities of Lufthansa Innovation Hub structuring two direct investments of Lufthansa Group into cargo.one and Fleet. Before joining Lufthansa Group, he built-up the investment team and processes at Project A ventures.
Jim is an Investment Principal at JetBlue Ventures, where he focuses on investing in early-stage companies across commercial aviation and travel for our portfolio. Some of his interests include travel-related developments in areas like AI/ML, e-commerce, biometrics/identity, data science, mobility, process automation, predictive analytics, augmented reality, sustainable travel, and robotics.
Michael joined Inovia Capital in February 2018, with a mandate to open Inovia’s London office with Patrick Pichette and since joining, has been actively involved in the Firm’s investments in Lightspeed, Forward, Zwift and Neo4j. Prior to joining Inovia, Michael worked for the Funds and Technology team at CDPQ, where he was a board member/observer at Lightspeed, Hopper and Felix & Paul Studios. He gained operating experience through a secondment as a Project Manager at Hopper, a travel tech startup that has raised $600M. Prior to joining CDPQ, Michael was an investment analyst at PSP Investments.
